Lol, no choil shots yet! These are thicker, I did the preliminary bevel grind before heat treating when they are softer and easier to grind.

Do you guys want thinner grinds or thicker? I was going to go thicker for more durability?

I agree, I think thicker is more amendable to cutting pizza.

Ha! Chicago style or Connecticut style!

[I'd go thicker.]

Yeah, they are around 1/8" thick at the pivot hole and taper down around halfway between the edge and pivot. I will see how the heat treat goes and will hopefully have some pics later this week or next week!

Tim: are these going to come with denim orange-ish yellow handles to match some nice burnt cheese on a pizza?

Not yet, just getting it done took all day! I will probably try it and then re etch it. There are some splotches on one side so I missed a spot when I was cleaning it before I etched it.

That is one of the most unnecessary and absolutely glorious things I've ever seen. Beautiful! :)

And you need it! I'm sure Mr. 575 will consider an offer or three.

Giddy up. Now all I have to do is find the will power to start my outdoor kitchen with pizza oven.

I owe a review on this beauty, but have been too busy eating pizza. Honestly, the coolest kitchen item I have purchased in a few years with awesome build quality.
