Chefknivestogo Customer Comments
Re: Chefknivestogo Customer Comments
Just wanted to let you know that I've been doing a lot of reading online about how to take care of my new Japanese knife properly, and as someone who is completely new to this type of thing, I really appreciate you taking the time to speak to others on reddit / youtube, etc. to ensure people get quality information about their products. Thanks! It's definitely what drove me to order from your website.

Wow. I wasn't aware that a request like this was needed. Have I just been lucky that my packages have always been extremely well packed and arrived in perfect shape?
edit to correct "might" to "my"

You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

Nope. From personal experience, I believe good packaging is a CKTG standard. Maybe just a little extra concern on the buyers side?

Thank you Mark and Sue for getting this package to me in record time! Ordered on late on Friday and got it on Monday! (From Wisconsin to California via usps) Just in time to send out as a bday present. The Masutani VG1 Santoku I got is beautiful and well crafted and will be splendid gift!

Re: Chefknivestogo Customer Comments
Got my kohetsu aogami super petty 150mm yesterday. It had a long journey to Australia. Arrived quickly and unharmed. Thanks for the great service.
What a great little knife. Slicing up potatoes for boiling, diced up a few tomatoes, trimmed a bit of silverskin breaking down a rump to test it out.
Not sure I'm a fan of the asymmetric edge. It's quite steery and closer to 80/20. But that was easy fixed. As was a pleasure to work on the stone.
But I'm very happy with it. It's going to be a handy little addition for all those little tasks you want a little slicer/utility blade for.
Have a Harukaze G3 Nashiji Gyuto 210mm on the way now for the wife. Will report back on that soon.
