Hello, welcome to the forum! I have never used a saya before, but I kind of want to make one for my new custom gyuto.

Hi, everyone!

I'm Michi from Switzerland.

Once upon a time, it was at a Birthday party of a friend, maybe half a year ago, I was trying to cut a big piece of bacon into tiny pieces with a very dull knife. That was when I decided to learn how to sharpen knives.
And so my journey began!

Thank you so very much for this forum!
It is such an incredible source of knowledge, it is amazing!
I already spent many hours here, as a guest, just "listening and learning".

My knives are getting sharper and sharper and so do those of all my friends and family.
And while I clearly still have a lot to learn, I also think that I am ready to give something back every now and then.
That's why I'm here.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Michi
