I'm curious if anyone knows whether there are any plans on making more of the extra tall FMs. I'd especially like a 270 in Blue 2.

It was all I could do to not take one of those Fujiyama damascus knives home with me. Especially with the burnt chestnut handle. I think that is my favorite knife of 2021.

I could not agree more! I just about cried when I clicked hit complete order and it said “this item is out of stock”.

Number one dream knife without a doubt. I still look at pictures of it all the time. Sad but true haha

I think we discussed that this is the last of the Fujiyama cleavers. No more can be ordered by me for the foreseeable future.

Mark, you should say that after they are sold out. Now we'll get the flippin' flippers using bots to buy them all.

I'm not even going to try and get one. That should increase Dan's chance of grabbing one.

Hahaha... you know, I wouldn't even think of trying, except I did.
But then I looked, and man, those things weigh more than half a kilo :o half a kilo of beautiful steel, with a beautiful finish, and a big hunk of handsome wood. Still, what would I do with one? Make shakshooka? This big caliber belongs in the hands of someone who makes nicer things than I.
And besides, I wanna buy a house one day - I can't quite lock up my mullahs in steel. At least, not in such beautiful steel
I'll leave it for the lucky ones ;)

Alright, back to the silence-before-the-arrival bit :P

That's when my Konosuke collection grew exponentially, right after I paid off my house.

LOL. Me too, Jeff, though if I keep buying these knives I might need a mortgage again.

Have those cleavers already come and gone? Also if any of you won one I would love to see a choil shot… maybe a couple pics? I’ve never seen one of them in person.

I literally just bought a Kono Sanjo 2 days ago and I STILL might pick up one of those HD2 180s.
