Yes the Harukaze lines have really taken off over the past year and we're selling lots of them. It's hard to compete with this at this price point for a nice looking Ginsan steel gyuto https://www.chefknivestogo.com/harukaze240.html

The Mark Sakai is this line of knives. I call them Sakai and I don't put my name on them because all I did was buy them. I actually don't know who is making these knives. I just know they're from Sakai and they've been good quality single bevel knives for us for many years.

These came yesterday but they're being put into stock today. The "G" items are Shiro Kamo. The Kaki items are Yamashin.

The Shiro Kamo seems like it is closer to the old Richmond Addict than the new Addict. Similar height and low weight.

Yeah I'm the guy that pushes that pallet jack up the slight incline to get it into our shop. It's like pushing those sleds for football practice. Fortunately, they always bring a liftgate so we don't have to offload the truck we just roll it to the platform and lower it onto the ground.

Steve is our normal delivery guy that drives stuff up from Chicago and he told me yesterday that he lost the tip of his middle finger a year and a half ago when the liftgate was being put away. He showed it to me and said the glove he had on didn't come off but his finger did.
