I purchased my magnets from Jobmaster Magnets up here in Canada. Im sure you can source them in the US of A and likely for less.
These are what I used.Screen Shot 2021-03-13 at 2.13.45 PM.png
If you need a US supplier I use n50 1/8x 1/2 inch neodymium magnets from magnetsforless.com. The per magnet price was the cheapest I found, but they get you on shipping. I try to buy 200 at a time.

I also like to mount to the wall using screw in keyhole hangers.
Well, the domain name, magnetsforless.com may be for sale, when I try to go there.
You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

I've tried to get him to stop being so formal amongst friends but I just gave up. Isn't that right Mr. XexoX. :D

I get my magnets from K&J Magnetics (https://www.kjmagnetics.com/). I use a single row of DA4 magnets which are disk magnets 5/8” in diameter and 1/4” thick. Laid out so they’re touching edges and 1/8” below the the surface of the holder, the grip the knife quite firmly.

This place seems to sell them for considerably less than what I’ve been paying, even when you factor in their rather outrageous shipping costs. I think I will try magnets4less.com for my next project.

Harbor freight carries them too and at a good price. If you have one nearby that will save you the shipping.
