Love good swarf, (may be boring but you would be suprised the questions i get on it)

I get alot of questions on what is swarf, to the seasoned sharpeners i know this will be boring but its all about showing and helping. 8k shiro rika and yoshihiro 10 pictured with a Messermeister Mu Santoku shown for reference. Edge turned out great for a home edge with shine and tooth. For some it may be boring but when i started out there were plenty that helped me.
Top stone is the 5k the bottom is the 10. Finished edge before strop. Peace
