The third sentence in the description for the Tabata Hamono Blue #2 Petty 110mm refers to the knife as a cleaver.
Tabata Blue #2 Petty 110mm. Tabata Hamono is a small blacksmith shop on Tanagashima Island, located south of Kagoshima Prefecture in Kyushu. They make this cleaver with Blue #2 carbon steel and it has soft iron cladding and a kasumi finish.
Also, in the item details the handle is specified as oval rosewood with a black pakkawood ferrule. I don't know if the photo is outdated but it is clearly not the same as the one described in the item details.
Handle: Rosewood Oval
Ferrule: Black Pakkawood

The weight for the laurel handle Konosuke Togatta GS+ is incorrect. If the knife is 4.2 oz as listed, the weight in grams should be 119. I suspect that the weight in grams at 135 is the right weight in which case the weight in oz should be 4.8

Not a typo but on the Tsunehisa AUS8 Stainless page the entry/image for the Tsunehisa AUS8 Tsuchime Gyuto 210mm has a video icon but the Gyuto 210mm page itself contains no video. The image for this knife on the New Arrivals page also has a video icon.

In the description of the 1k Nagura it says it can be matched with a 10k stone so the mud is the same grit.

Post by XexoX »

When shopping by steel for Blue #2 Harukaze Knives shows up and the description says they are made with a core steel of Blue #2, but the listed knives are AS, HG3, VG1, White #2, and VG10. Not sure, but I don't think any of those are Blue #2.

The 2nd paragraph of Buffalo Strop 3" x 11" says "This bark-tanned bovine magnetic strop pad is made to fit the Richmond honing base." While "bovine" here is correct (a buffalo is a bovine), it might be confusing to some since your Bovine Strops are separate products. In case you are wondering, I am indeed being nit-picky. Your other Buffalo Strops do not have this hemi-demi-semi-problem.
