person got a new knife to replace this one (the EX had it) then low and behold they got the busted up knife back and asked if there was anything i coudl do.
now the buyer has both a chef and not a utility blade

Holy cow, that is a serious repair. No way I would guess it was the same knife. Impressive work!

If God wanted me to be a vegetarian he wouldn't have made animals taste so good.

My first thought was who the heck would do that to a harner knive. But the ex statement makes alot of sense. She probably through it against a wall or something lol. Just goes to show why u shouldn't give up on a knife, nice repair is a gross understatement.
