Swords
How are things going at Baltimore Knife & Sword? More to the point of what I am sure everyone is wondering... In a zombie apocalypse which sword would you choose for when the bullets run out? (Sorry, I was catching up on some movies over the weekend, haha)

Re: Swords
things are going well i get to make many cool things. sadly with the drive included in my day i dont get much time to work on my custom orders.
new man at arms reforged comes out Friday and we have the yearly hammer in this weekend. so long 2 week for me
now to the point o apocalypse my camp knife woudl be really handy. 14" blade is easy to pack and still has some stand off range. the blade steel is PD1 and at RC 63 still plenty strong for the most brutal chopping

I hope this is one of the experiences you look back on someday and are proud of. It sounds really cool.Lloyd Harner wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 8:30 pm things are going well i get to make many cool things. sadly with the drive included in my day i dont get much time to work on my custom orders.

I was thinking that something like a kukri knife, assuming we are talking about the rather slow and clumsy zombies. I want to keep the zombie blood separate from camp tasks though. I "borrowed" one of those knives from my grandfather when I was a kid and it was great. But the traditional ones can be difficult to get out of the pretty sheaths.

I literally ride my mountain bike a 100 yards from your shop, love the old bridgeport in the yard.

Re: Swords
i have a camp knife (part hatchet part machete ) that is a hell of a work horse. Patteren And a shop made kukri but is in stage use steel (amazing stage durability but lacking edge holding (fact they are not shipped with a sharpened edge ) custom request could be made tho for a fully hardened and tempered blade in a proper steel. just falls into custom build costs that i got to say are not too bad de[pending on size and shape
