That one came to me in less than ideal condition. Mark fixed it up for me -- rehandle, etc. -- but even so, these new ones seem very special, so I couldn't resist. Can't wait for it to arrive.

That's a nice nakiri, Ronnie. I didn't know Konosuke had released knives in W2 monosteel. I think there would be demand for Konosuke W2 monosteel today. The W2 monosteel knives from Ashi Hamono consistently sell out.

Mark used to carry a whole line of Konosuke W#2 monosteel knives. The HD2 line was a lot more popular so the W#2 line was discontinued in 2015 to concentrate more on the HD2. I have a 210mm petty and the 300mm suji from the W#2 line and love them both, they were excellent knives but just very overshadowed by the HD2.
