Hi Mark,
I have a question for the Diamond Flattening Stone: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/140grdistflp.html
Do you think this will be suitable to use for shapton pro stones like these: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/shpro10.html
https://www.chefknivestogo.com/shpro50.html
Or do you recommend another flattening stone?
Thanks,
G.
Does the CKTG Diamond Plate work with Shaptons?

Yes I use that plate all the time for flatting my stones (I tend to use the glass stones more but it works on pro stones too). It also comes in handy for minor repair work.

I use the CKTG 140 diamond plate to flatten all of my Shapton Pro stones, 320, 1K, 2K, 5K.

Re: Does the CKTG Diamond Plate work with Shaptons?
I use the CKTG 140 plate to flatten all of my stones (Shapton and others). For finer stones (above 1000 grit let say but I just eyeball it for scratches really) I also use a 400 Atoma to make sure it's extra smooth. A little much? Maybe. But I am doing razors now so I want it to be perfect.
