CKTG logo missing in header
The CKTG logo has been replaced with phpBB forum sfotware logo, in the header, left of the search box. Is this only me? The link behind it still takes you to the store and new arrivals.
You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
Looks like the forums reverted to some form the the default skin, instead of the more customized version. From here, all functionality seems intact.

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
Maybe I just missed the glitch but everything looks the same here. Maybe the phpBB server just took some time off for the holiday?

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
I'm getting the default skin. When checking the console while loading the page I get an error:
Invalid URI. Load of media resource data: failed.
So something isn't working as planned in loading the custom skin for the site. The site itself is working fine for me.

I've got the CKTG Logo, but it's cut off half height...
I've a notion it's got to do with the store's temporary closure, seeing that the logo is also a link... or something.

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
The CKTG header image is missing again for me on desktop and mobile. Might be something with the recent software upgrade.

The logo is still missing. When I load the link for the logo in a separate tab and look at the console, I see the error message "Invalid URI. Load of media resource data: failed." The url trying to load the logo is : https://www.chefknivestogoforums.com/st ... _logo2.jpg

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
The logo appears for me in Chrome v79 and I wonder if this a bug for certain browsers.
XexoX, just curious which browser are you using?

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
I'm using FireFox. Not sure why a different browser would find the url though. I clear almost everything when I shut down each night.silylanjie wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 9:21 am The logo appears for me in Chrome v79 and I wonder if this a bug for certain browsers.

Different browsers requires different HTML and CSS coding for it to function correctly, thats why cross browser testing is important when it comes to website building .

Re: CKTG logo missing in header
I'm using Chrome, the header was showing for me late last night but is gone again. The store link was not working for me last night but is now. I just figure it's a bug in updates be it the browser or somewhere else and will work itself out. This is not the first time this has happened and it always fixes itself at some point.
