These are going to be a hit.
Good grinds, nice looks, nice handles and a reasonable price. Hopefully, I'll be able to keep them in stock so customers can actually buy them.

Already ordered mine to give it a look. It looks kinda like the old Keiai T1. Now if they would only come in all the flavors of Blue Steel and some PM steel like Hap40 or ZDP189. A man can dream! Haha.

Awesome mark. I was like- is that what I think it is? Have a post for it, tho it won’t need any hype. These won’t be in stock for long. I’d easily buy one if I didn’t have a Yoshikane w2 all ready.

The way Konosuke responds to customers (workhorse, all stainless, these YWs...) is fantastic. Reminds me of my favorite knife store.
These look amazing Mark. And what a value.

These look great! I love a good flat spot. Any idea how hard the core steel is?

Get Mark to flip it around or do it yourself, very easy to do.

In other words you just don't like D handles regardless of lefty or righty?

I'm a lefty and I ordered one anyway. If the D isn't comfortable -- and it's not likely to be -- I'll call some sort of audible.

Lefty too. I am not crazy about D handles and I have replaced several. But I still have a few and I don't really notice - unless I want to. I actually sanded down the D bump on my Tojiro white 240 to make it oval. Can't tell by looking at it. I think it is a ho wood or similar wood.

Sounds like you are a talented man, Mr. Bart. Good job.jbart65 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 12:54 pm Lefty too. I am not crazy about D handles and I have replaced several. I'm a right handed and have one D handle, which I really don't like much. I'll have to sand it down meself, even though I strongely doubt I'm as talented as you are.
You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

Re: These are going to be a hit.
I would love to get one of these but I'm trying very hard to be good right now. I have soooo many knives already I'm trying to keep new purchases to truly unique or have-to-have knives. These look like such a bargain though I could break down at any moment.

Might work better for the left handed people out there.ChefKnivesToGo wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 1:44 pm Would you guys like me to do some with standard wa octagonal handles?
