Hi everybody,
I found this knife on Ebay and i'm pretty sure I already saw this brand ( the cross or T with in a circle).
But know I looked at a lot of site (almost everything in english) and at all brands they got and I didn't find it.
Someone knows what brand it is ?
Thx !

Dunno if it helps much, but the cross could be kanji for "10" in this context

This is a knife made for a store in Nara Prefecture "奈良" an "持選" edition for the store name is 丸十物産 (http://yamatoji.nara-kankou.or.jp/09sho ... 900000045/)
A similar knife can be found here.

Although I am not certain who is the knife maker but my best guess is 菊一文珠四郎包永

Re: weird symbol on a knife blade
Kikuichi uses a chrysanthemum, they are one of the oldest knife and sword makers in existence. The chrysanthemum is the old mark of the emperor - no other maker uses it, or has ever been allowed to use it that I know of. The blade in question is not a Kikuichi. Kikuichi means "first chrysanthemum". I own more Kikuichi knives than any other brand - was my introduction to Japanese blades in the 80's when I started going there for business.
