Re: Typographical errors on the site.
I just noticed that the Yoshimi Kato Knives show up in the 'K' listing when looking for knives by brand. Rather confusing to me. If the reason is last name, then shouldn't Kato Uchihamono show up in 'U' and not 'K'?
You can blame Mr. Suburban for my being here.

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
It goes by what people are known by, like Makoto is Makoto and Yu is Kurosaki. Kato is Kato. And Takeda is Takeda, not Shosui. There may be inconsistencies that don't make sense but most of them do.

Typo in gmail confirmation banner at the top of the page. “Confirmation emals’ should be ‘emails’.

Typo in first paragraph on the Kanjo VG10 Ladderback Damascus Gyuto 210mm page. It looks like "We'ar" should be "We're".
https://www.chefknivestogo.com/kavgladagy21.htmlKanjo VG10 Ladderback Damascus Gyuto 210mm. We'ar suckers for damascus blades.
Re: Typographical errors on the site.
Excellent. Ready for more?I think we are all caught up!
There appears to be a stray paragraph on the Kanjo VG10 Ladderback Damascus Gyuto 240mm page. The last paragraph is all about the Ladderback Petty not the gyuto.
Link: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/kavgladagy24.htmlThe Kanjo Ladderback Damascus VG2/10 Petty is a very versatile and good looking knife. It will chop, slice, and cut almost any small to medium ingredient. It is also compact enough to be a perfect paring knife or tool for delicate and precise usage such as garnish preparation.

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
The stat lines on the Kanjo ZDP189 Gyuto 240mm page for Weight and Overall Length appear to be incorrect. The weight is the same as the weight listed on the Kanjo ZDP189 Gyuto 210mm page. The overall length is even shorter than the 360 mm listed for the 210mm blade (which seems to be correct: blade length plus 5 in (127mm) for the handle and another 21mm for the tang). Simply using the difference in blade lengths between the two knives I would expect to see an overall length around 390 mm for the 240mm blade.

Edge Length: 242 mm
Overall Length: 330 mm

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
The second word in the last paragraph of the description on the Kanjo 1K6 Stainless Kiritsuke 180mm and Kanjo 1K6 Stainless Kiritsuke 210mm pages is capitalized. The word "Handle" should be "handle".

While you are editing these pages you might want to add a missing space character after the ":" on the status line for Weight. The space is missing on both kiritsuke pages.

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but on the Kamo Knives page it says:
But you have 3 lines now, Blue #2 knives as well as the White #2 and the SG2 (R2) knives.Shiro Kamo is one of the many blacksmiths that work at Takefu Village in Echizen Japan. We are offering 2 lines from Kamo san, the first is made with R2 stainless steel and the second is made with White #2 carbon steel.

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
Good catch. It's even the case that there are two lines of Blue 2: kurouchi and migaki.XexoX wrote: ↑Wed Sep 22, 2021 10:02 am Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but on the Kamo Knives page it says:But you have 3 lines now, Blue #2 knives as well as the White #2 and the SG2 (R2) knives.Shiro Kamo is one of the many blacksmiths that work at Takefu Village in Echizen Japan. So, maybe 4 total?

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
Under the Tall Nakiris Tall Nakiris Yoshimitsu AS Gyuto 210mm is listed. It is the only gyuto there.

Typo on the first line on the Itto-Ryu Knives page. Missing "the" before "brand name".
It is disappointing to see the reduction in offerings from this maker. I was waiting for the Itto-Ryu Hammered White #2 Petty 105mm
to come back in stock, but I guess not.
Link: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/rentetsuknives.htmlItto-Ryu is brand name for a line of knives produced by a very small blacksmith shop in Sanjo Japan.

I don't think the elder Mr. Yamamoto is helping them anymore and they grinds are not the same.aurrico wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 9:08 am Typo on the first line on the Itto-Ryu Knives page. They're really a crow bar maker.

I'm sure you're right. I am definitely not looking to add a crowbar to my knife set.ChefKnivesToGo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 10:21 amI don't think the elder Mr. Yamamoto is helping them anymore and they grinds are not the same.aurrico wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 9:08 am Typo on the first line on the Itto-Ryu Knives page. I recently obtained a lovely piece of African rosewood (not a true rosewood, actually from the Bubinga family) with great color and a beautiful figure well suited to the finish of that blade. I was looking to make it my first handle replacement project. I'll just hold on to the rosewood; another suitable blade may show up someday.
Re: Typographical errors on the site.
When shopping for knives by steel, Kato Uchihamono Ginsan knives show up in the Ginsan steel list as expected, but when you go to the Kato Uchihamono Ginsan knives page the navigation breadcrumb trail points to the R2 & SG2 knives instead of the Ginsan steel knives. And the menu at the left of the page with other knives of that steel shows the R2 & SG2 knife list.

Re: Typographical errors on the site.
The second sentence in the fourth paragraph on the Kurosaki Senko SG2 Petty 120mm page refers to this knife as a gyuto rather than a petty.
Link: https://www.chefknivestogo.com/kusesg2gy24c.htmlThe Kurosaki Senko SG2 Petty is a relatively thin and light knife. It has a nicely formed profile for cutters of all styles and generous height proportions for a gyuto of this size.
