Very very nice collection, James. Some carbon steel coming up or no? It’s actually kind of refreshing to see something different with all your stainless/semi-stainless knives.

I have no idea why the 240 sujihiki ended up below the 210 gyuto instead of below the 270 sujihiki.

Part VII: Swedish Stainless & S35VN Knives

Masamoto KS Swedish Stainless, Fernandez S35VN, Suisin Swedish Stainless

Masamoto Fernandez Suisin.jpg

That's all folks except for a few Hattori HDs & FHs, Glestains, & Miyabis.

Approximately a dozen knives not shown in Parts I through Vii will eventually show up in the Classifieds. These will include a White #2, a Blue #1, a couple of 52100s, some HD/HD2s, and ?. Two of these have Matt Delosso handles.

Thanks to everyone who has commented - even those who hate me    !

It's been a while since I got a new knife. Recently this got delivered. It's by Cris Anderson. A 215mm Nitro-V XH gyuto with a triple dyed cotton wood handle with mammoth tooth

Did not know Cris was still around. Nice handle. May be just the light but it kind of looks like there is a hole in the edge. A gap where the heel and the front portion connect.

Yeah he's still around. I was in touch with him in Feb around about when I was waiting for my knife to arrive.

I'm trying where the hole in the edge that you're seeing is but I can't see it. In the flesh rest assured the knife is immaculate! I don't know if you've handled his knives before, I highly recommend it. The images don't do it justice!

Ah sorry I didn't realise. I'm not sure it's possible to get my entire knife collection in one post. I have probably close 40 knives.

You are not required to show all with one photo...just post to the correct thread. Many thanks.

It's confusing, one thread is show us your knives, the other is show us your new knife...I am happy to look at pictures in either.

How so? One is for new knives bought, found or otherwise and the other for collections. I'm not censoring, just trying to keep it compact and easy to navigate. It can all be put in one place if you guys prefer.

Please add the word Collection in the thread title to clarify and avoid confusion.
