Knife recommendation

1) Pro, for home use
2) Gyuto
3) 8-10''
4) 200-250$
5) No preference (and probably not enough knowledge)
6) Japanese.
7) German chefs knife (passed to me by my dad, dont know the company)
8) Good - Excellent
9) I'm a rocker, but I'll apply all when necessary.
10) Yes (not a pro at it)
