Another one that's just sitting in the drawer. Second owner. Blade was polished by original owner. Used lightly by me for a year or so. Sharpened once. Removed patina with rust erasers and Simichrome. You can see there appears to be pitting on one side of the blade. The first owner said it came from Toyama like that and is quite normal and for the entire time I've had it, the blade hasn't changed so it appears completely fine.
Modifications to the blade: custom handle added by Tony LaSeur. Japanese elm burl, brass, and African blackwood. Spine and choil eased as well.
