Well, Mr. Wonderful the red-tailed shark is outgrowing his 37 gallon and needs a proper 75 gallon home. Figured a knife or two would kickstart some funds...
This is a KS carbon, at least a few years old. Second hand. Got it in pretty new condition. Only sharpened a few times on a 3k Sigma. Has some fairly ugly patina. Rarely used, but has sat in a drawer for a hot minute. It's a great cutter. Rather impressive, actually.
Has a semi-octo handle with some colored burls and micarta. It is long and slim and rounded- very comfortable, and easy to wield. The saya is a Masamoto. I added a matching dyed burl topper to the pin, and a green string tie-down. Also, I added a shim to the inside of the saya, so it's closer to a friction fit.
