Re: Black Lotus Knives
I have the knife. I am out of town until Tuesday so I won't be able to work with it until then.

Re: Black Lotus Knives
My second Black Lotus knife just shipped. I’ve only bought multiples from same maker with Kato, Shig, Kippington and Raquin which says something about Jeff Steele and his Black Lotus knives. I will share a pic when it arrives, it’s a stunner. My other BL is mid grind with a nice convex, it performs as good as it looks. I’ll I can say is good things are worth the wait, maybe the Gods want you to learn patience grasshopper, lol.

Re: Black Lotus Knives
really, really sweet looking knife AND handle!
How is it shaped? Is it as chunky as the previous passaround one?

Hi. I just got the knife and finished my first session. It is a gorgeous speciimin. That handle, va va va voom. I liked using it a great deal. I usually use much thinner knives, but loved the confidence and heft of this one, while still being able to slice things thin.

Re: Black Lotus Knives
I am truly enjoying this knife. I love the way it looks and, while my other quality knives are far thinner, I actually appreciated the extra heft. I have been wanting a 240ish for a while and this confirmed it. Size does matter. And, while, this isn't a laser, even close, it is ore nimble than i expected and was ablt to make some really thin cuts. I would be really happy to add this knife, which is kind of a weapon, to my arsenal.
