Ok Ray is taking it first and he’ll organize the passaround. I’ll ship it out on Monday.

Re: Pass Around
I'd be very interested in trying this blade out, if there's any room left in this pass around. Digging the concept

Re: Pass Around
This could totally be used on Mad Max.Mustyblowfish wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 6:37 am Hi everyone, I sent this knife to Mark for the pass round. Having bought Takeda, Konosuke & Masakage from this site in the past I was spoiled at home with good knives! A few months ago I was doing some photographic work for a local master Blacksmith here in Cornwall, England (King Arthur and Excaliber land!) I was blown away by his work. He mainly specializes in custom work for high-level clients and royalty but I suggested the idea of making some knives. He was intrigued so I lent him some of my collection and this is the first result! Below is a picture of the actual knife that will be doing the rounds. It has been polished to a more jewellery like finish.
What I love about his work is that he is creating these knives from a single round of steel that he shapes on his giant hammer. Even the handle is the same piece of metal! No cladding.
He has added a wave to the top of the blade on this model and it also comes with a solid Bronze scabbard to give the knife a more sword-like feel. I'll be very interested to get some feedback on the wave.
Let me know if you have any questions and I'll put them to Charles and respond on this thread.
What kind of steel did he use for this knife?

Re: Pass Around
Any chance any of you will post a video of the Mad Max in action?

Re: Pass Around
Ooooooh, I'm last which means it may warm up some by then.
Maybe I can hand deliver it on the Black Harley with Mad Max attire!
111 miles and I can hunt zombies along the way.
Any chance it comes with an over the shoulder sheath? LOL!

Re: Pass Around
Number 11 in the lineup, you probably won't see it until July. It should be plenty warm by then I hope.
