Its basically the Nestle Toll House cookie recipe with a bag of Heath Bar pieces added and the cookie ball of dough is rolled in chopped almonds, hence the name Almond Roca cookies. Thanks Jeff. I’ve been trying off and on for years. I know there’s lots of great advice and videos I just can’t seem to get the hang of it.

I keep trying to sharpen, but not very successful
Hello all, I've been reading the Forums here since we had the "old" Forum and I have tried my best to learn to sharpen however I just cannot seem to get the hang of it. The results are always not as nice as I had hoped and I'm going to "toss in the towel" on this one. (A man's go...

Re: Not good ribs, but the right ribs
Can't go wrong. Fall off the bone meat. tender and juicy. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. IMO, ribs should not be FOB. FOB is overcooked when it comes to ribs. There should be some gentle tug of the meat from the bone. My personal feeling is that if you want pork th...

Re: Might Be Going Gluten Free... I'm Scared
My wife recently went gluten free. It’s challenging. We did find some good gluten free pizza at Costco that’s make with rice.
Best wishes,
Michael

Re: Who else save and used rendered animal fat(s)?
My mom and grandma always saved their bacon fat. My grandma used to fry her eggs in 1/2" of bacon fat. Great flavor however probably not the healthiest. My mom used the bacon fat in recipes.

I used to have a full set of Revere Ware copper bottom cookware. The ones I still have are still going strong 30 years later. If you can find it, get it. You won't regret it.

Re: Not good ribs, but the right ribs
I have tried several ribs recipes and always come back to the Ladies Home Journal recipe from long ago. Can't go wrong. Fall off the bone meat. tender and juicy. Re: Got a nice rice cooker, let's talk rice
I used to make rice for sushi in a regular pot and it was always a PITA. Then I got a decent Japanese automatic rice cooker it wasn't very expensive and worked well. Make sushi rice perfectly every time. Loved it! I got my rice at the local asian market (at the time in Seattle, store was Uwajimaya)....
