Hello,
This laser has turned out very nicely. 26C3 Carbon Steel, It is ground thin with a wicked distal taper and fullers (both sides of blade).
The handle was made by Graydon Decollibus. I collaborate with him as often as possible, he does fantastic work.
Forced Patina has been applied to the belt finished blade.
.080" stock thickness
8-3/8" Blade Length
2" Height at heel
RC 63-64
Choil and Spine Chamfered
Edge comes sharpened and stropped to a 10K finish.
Very, very sharp.
Satisfaction is guaranteed.

Re: FS 26C3 Carbon Steel Laser
Beautiful work you have been doing with those fullered blades! Very unique looking. Your previously sold chef knife with the fullered blade, Karelian Birch handle, and Fat Carbon ferrule that is on your website is just about aesthetic perfection as far as I'm concerned.
I'm not very familiar 26C3 except that I believe it is Swedish. What steels would it be most comparable to?

Hey, 26c3 is very comparable to hitachi white steel just with a little more alloying, gives it a bit more wear resistance.
