Field does this once or twice a year, great opportunity to get a quality skillet at a reasonable price. I have every size of the skillets they make, three of which are seconds. I’ve put them side by side with the two Field skillets that aren’t seconds and can not find why they were sold as seconds.

No, really. It's a great scale for a pretty-much-first-quality product (I can't find a flaw in either of my pans either). In that way, I'd compare it to the All-Clad Factory Seconds sale. Both companies seem to have such high standards that things that make the seconds pile are functionally indistinguishable from the first quality stuff.
