Hi All!
I've been really grateful for the help and feedback I've been getting on the forum recently, and wanted to do something (hopefully?) fun for the members I've heard some good things about the new-ish Harukaze Ginsan gyuto, and wanted to solicit more feedback (and hopefully more sales for Mark ). To those ends, I wanted to see if people would be interested in a pass around on this particular knife.
Pass Around Criteria:
150 Post minimum
CONUS (to keep shipping costs down)
1 week per person, give or take
Shall we say, ~8 people
If you are a good sharpener, I wouldn't mind having a couple on the pass around to give some feedback on the sharpening characteristics. I am paying for this knife out of pocket, though, and while it's not terribly expensive, I would prefer not ending up with a knife that's too beat up
If you have any interest in trying this one out, let me know!
Best Regards,
Ethan

I’m interested. I’ve read great things this steel, and I’m curious how it compares with my Makoto Sakura

I guess this pass around never happened? I've been looking at that knife and I'm curious what people think of it.
