Everything but the kitchen sink knife recommendation?

Not a lot I can add to this thread that hasn't been said already other than to summarize my thoughts.

1. MAC/Artirfex if there's even the slightest chance they''ll try to take care of it. Kanehide if there's even a slightly better chance.
2. Victorinox if there's no hope.
3. The chicken bones and leaving it in the sink makes me cringe (and wonder if it isn't going to find its way into the dishwasher). If my suspicions are right I might even make a recommendation I almost never make: Big Box store Henckel or something on sale. I don't mean their upgraded lines. I mean the stamp and stomp on them versions.
