Of thr many Nakayama suita I've used this one has a very smooth elasticity but more on the smooth side than the harder Nakayama Suita.
The stone is good for knives, razors and small tools.
The stamps are beautiful and the stone doesn't have any toxic lines.
The finish on wide bevels is a shiny hazy Kasumi with very white Hagane and contrasting silver haze on the jigane with a level of mirror as well.
If sharpening razors, the shape is perfect for Hand held honing and as a knife/tool stone, there's plenty of surface area for wide/single bevels.
Lacquered with cashew on all sides and back.
