I didn’t realize the Ryusei knives are laser etched. I prefer the hand chiseled Kanji. What is everyone’s thoughts? What do you prefer?

Re: Kurosaki Arrivals
Most knives coming out of Takefu are laser etched now, they have a machine that they share. Real shame too, some of the nicest hand chiseled kanji use to come from there. More and more knives all over Japan are etched now instead of chiseled or stamped, just cheaper, easier and faster.

I don’t like how it looks. I’m not a fan. The ryusei didn’t even have the Makoto logo he usually puts on his knives.

My bad, this was a post from last year, as Lady Belle ever so politely pointed out.ChefKnivesToGo wrote: ↑Fri Jul 16, 2021 9:01 am These shipped from Kurosaki today. I should have them in a week.
Freak out your customer and post them at 3:27:28 AM CST. But don't warn anybody. See who is up looking at their email at that hour.

And it would be fun to get a Kurosaki update no matter.

Sorry, Xexox. I guess I'm not a good person to follow. I never had much leadership potential.

Re: Kurosaki Arrivals
Has anyone seen any Fujin AS gyutos floating around out there this year? It's been so long on these, I'm wondering if he has moved on to producing different lines instead. Would be a terrible shame.
The Jeff knife looks like it was dropped, too.
