Earlier in the year I decided to take a week long trip to the great land of South Dakota. All our shows were canceled for the year so Steve (Red Rock Tools) and I took an entire week to build some damascus. This trip we built 3 billets together the first of which is pictured in this post. We made some mistakes and learned a lot in the process. This was first billet of the 3 and turned out to be quite a bit smaller due to mishaps. All in all we recovered and I returned home and later finished forging and finishing out this 7" Super tall (2.5"~) Bunka complete with industrial funky glitter hybridwood (sold)

What do you guys think? Too busy? Like it or love it? Steve Was able to forge a full integral out of his and i believe his is still available. The third billet was a 256 crush W, laddered pattern. In effect, 12,800 layers.... Steve forged a beaut from it, and i have a tail piece that i forged into a tiny utility (still working on it)

Just wanted to touch base with something i found exciting!
