That's all folks except for a few Hattori HDs & FHs, Glestains, & Miyabis.

Approximately a dozen knives not shown in Parts I through Vii will eventually show up in the Classifieds. These will include a White #2, a Blue #1, a couple of 52100s, some HD/HD2s, and ?. Two of these have Matt Delosso handles.

Thanks to everyone who has commented - even those who hate me    !

Holy smokes and steel!
I'm suspecting you're not a collector - but a vendor! Could you be the James of K&S, come here to blow our socks off?
Hahaha

Very nice collection indeed!
What would be your thoughtless 3 favorite knives to use (say, which ones give you special pleasure when you pick'em up)?

Well there is at least one (1) knife from James Zhang of K&S in the collection, but I am not that James. My father's ancestors came from Scotland.

I am going to cheat a little on the answer to your question - well actually a lot!

In no particular order:

Any of the Harner CTS XHPs.
Any of the Konosuke Ginsans.
Any of the Sakai Takayuki Ginsans.
Any of the Takeshi Saji R-2s.

All of the above always make me smile when I use them.

Thank you for you comments.

That's a great way to show off the grind - it's quite unique and specific. What do you think of it in use?

Took a little family photo recently. Some have been sold and gifted since then, but it's a nice group.

Damn nice.
How's S90V for kitchen knives? A beautiful handle on it as well!
I also had that Kitaoka on my wishlist for too long ...

S90v is a pretty decent edge holding steel. A complete bear to work with though. Personally, I don't like my Kitaoka that much. F&F is super rough and mine was warped so I can't get a good edge on the ura. Mine might be a lemon though.

You've got a great collection but looks-wise everything about that Sakimaru Tako just works perfectly. Stunner. How does she perform?

Had most of my knives I’ve picked up since finding CKTG in one place for once (usually split between work and home) so I thought I’d snag a quick pic. Left to right -

Shibata AS 240 gyuto
Konosuke Fujiyama B2 240 gyuto (May 2020 batch)
Kurosaki R2 hammered 240 gyuto
Kato VG10 nashiji suminagashi 210 gyuto
Saji ginsan nakiri
Kohetsu B2 nashiji honesuki

Not the best photography compared to some in this thread... but I love these knives! Thanks to all of you who have helped me pick them along the way, directly and indirectly.

You should post this question on it's own thread as it will probably elicit multiple replies.

Here's a small family photo, part of the collection:

(Sorry I'm not great at imbedding)

Left to right: All 240mm
Kato Dammy
Kato Workhorse
Kato Ku
Kato Standard

That should work

You may have posted a link to google drive link that wasn't listed as public so it won't show up for most of us. (you can test this by openning this page in incognoto mode).
Try imgur.com sometime, it's pretty much where all of reddit images are hosted.
