Artifax 210 gyuto & 1k stone - CLOSED!

Post by nakneker »

I wanted to offer this knife and a stone of your choice to any of the members who are 60+ and going a little stir crazy at home. Hopefully it goes to someone who wants to enhance their sharpening skills. The knife is an Richmond Artifax 211x46, it’s been lightly used, comes with no box. Along with the knife, pick out one of the stones pictured to go with it. Knife and stone are free, shipping is free. I just ask that your 60+ and really could use the knife and the stone. Only requirement other than that is that you have a minimum of 100 posts here on there forum. I’ve learned a lot from forum members here who are retired and still enjoying this hobby, I’m in my early fifties and getting there fast, I hope I have the same fire many of you do when get to retirement. My Father, who lives with us and has respiratory issues is going nuts being confined to home, he’s a social animal, it’s hard for him. Only stone that can’t be chosen is the Sigma Select.

If memory serves me correctly this is the third time I have personally seen you do something like this.
A bit of light in dark times.
Kudos to you and I hope something good comes your way some day.
Best wishes.

My back says I’m 70 and my memory says I’m well over 95. Does that count, Sean?

I vote that we change your username to “kid kudos”. :D

You guys are nice. It was you Steve who did the first thread I’d seen like this, you started it. Just seems appropriate in these times, little things can brighten a day and we all need some of that right now.

Perfect idea Sean. My father is almost 70 and going absolutely stir crazy as well. He's frustrated we keep doing all of his shopping as he just wants out. He used to yell at me for wanting to go out and now the tables have turned, ha. Very thoughtful!
I'm Dave. I don't take myself too seriously and you probably shouldn't either.

Thanks Jeff. It’s a 30 dollar Brother Costco sells. The ribbon isn’t real cheap at 10-25 bucks but it lasts a long time. Never had a problem with it. Makes it easy to grab the stone or knife your looking for.
