Yea, just stating the obvious Some pro chefs resharpen their knives NIGHTLY.

1) sharpen at a less acute angle.
2) Get a better knife.
3) Don't expect cheap knives to hold edges that long
4) Pick up a good knife here at cktg

I've used all the dmts and run through them pretty quickly. I have days where I flatten over 100 stones in a day. In particular the xxf DMT seems to leave a black residue and acts more like a 4-5k stone. I've stopped using it. This 3k diamond plate seems to hold up well and compares perhaps favorabl...

I use both stones as well as a Nubatama bamboo 8k. Each has its advantages. For a hard precise stone the speckled stone is tough to beat. For razors especially. As a general purpose stone for knives I prefer the snow white (which actually translates as pure white.)

Fwiw, in addition to this CBN spray I also have .75 CBN emulsion and paste, polycrystalline spray and emulsion. It's why I have so many formulations! Good luck!
