Oh, does Mr. Kamish (Sp?) have any young children, or nieces or nephews? They could do a review of the knife! That would be fantastic!

Hi, I'm posting the Instagram link because there's no function to upload photos.
Some text, telling us about the knife, along with the link. Nothing is stopping you from adding that. Easy-Peasy.

When you get your B&B going again, you should offer a special, a week stay and bread making classes.

You seem to be a master bread maker.

Finally! Now you can drive in style and pick up your knives instead of waiting for the USPS to delivery them! You can swing by LaVieestBelle and deliver some bourbon on the way.

Re: New Feature: Make out of stocks dissapear.

We wanted the default to be to show everything since many customers use the "email me" feature for items they want when they're out of stock. Which makes sense. I wasn't clear in my statement. Mea culpa. What is misleading to me is there is a check box, which is already checked, that has text which...

The bread molded, so no toast today. :(
Well, you should make some of your own antibiotics with that moldy bread. You seem very good at not wasting a thing. ;)

... The Challenger looks great, but it was a no go when it was $295. It's now selling for $225. ... I can't believe the price drop  It really was a bit steep at $295 but the new price makes it a no brainer if you are serious about baking large loaves. Demand a refund! Re: Baking Much?

Thanks for all the advice, Gareth, Chappy and Ray. I've been cooking the bread on my pizza stone to start, covering the loaf with my Creuset per a technique in one of the books I read. Works pretty well. Bottom gets crusty, as does the top. Not ideal, though. Steam rises, sure, but the handles on t...

Re: Baking Much?

I used a 3 qt Ktichen Aid dutch oven in avocado green I bought at Costco some years back. I've never seen it for sale again, and in googling for it, I can't find it. Worked great, till my neighbor borrowed it and I haven't seen it since. So I bought a Emile Henry Potato Pot and it works great too. I...

Re: New Feature: Make out of stocks dissapear.

Me, being me and not good at peopling, it confused me at first that the box marked "Show out of stock items" is already checked. Maybe change the text to "Uncheck to show out of stock items". I know I checked the box to hide them, but the checked box with the text confused me at first. YMMV.

Re: I need vodka advice.

My vote is for the microplane. I'll trade the filteirng challenge it presents for avoiding the more bitter oils from the pith I tend to get - no matter how careful I am - from the paring knife route. Try a vegetable peeler if you have one. I think they work great for this application. Easy to avoid...
