It's not totally about the steel for me, I have a VG10 Fujin I use nearly every day. I honestly like the B2 better, the steel is just a bonus.

We wanted the default to be to show everything since many customers use the "email me" feature for items they want when they're out of stock. ---It would be nice though to have a site-wide show/hide check box rather than having to do so repeatedly on every page one visits. There's just no pleasing ...

Drill holes in the grout joints of the tile and fill them with caulk or grout when you move and no one will ever know. ;)

If you've been sharpening other knives with any success then you'll do fine. And no, on its initial sharpening, especially a Kurosaki, it won't need any thinning.

They make carbide bits to drill through tile for you to put anchors. Done it many times to hang shower doors in peoples bathrooms. If you drill where there are studs you don't need anchors.

It's a stainless clad knife I wouldn't worry about forcing a patina. Not enough exposed carbon to worry about just use it. Form a patina by chopping some onions! ;) :ugeek:
